An open door for your curiosity.

Managed service is not the only way. We continue to offer an open-source path for WhatsApp gateways.

Understand it. Adapt it. Operate it.

The open-source path gives technical teams room to study and manage their integrations. Contact us for integration guidance that fits your needs. One thing up front: the official MauKirim SDKs are API clients, not a gateway server you host yourself.

Official SDKs for every stack.

Four MIT-licensed repositories cover the whole MauKirim API: sdk-nodejs for Node.js/TypeScript, sdk-php for PHP, sdk-go for Go, and sdk-n8n as an n8n community node. They handle OTP, templated notifications, rented-number operations, and HMAC-SHA256 webhook signature verification.

Connect an AI assistant with MCP.

The MauKirim MCP server at https://app.maukirim.com/api/mcp lets an MCP-capable assistant — Claude Code, Cursor, and others — read the API documentation, inspect your billing and rented numbers, manage notification templates, and send from a rented number. Everything runs as your account with the permissions of the API key you grant it.

Control comes with responsibility.

For self-managed use, your team prepares the environment, WhatsApp connection, security, updates, and maintenance. The number provision offered with the managed service is not automatically included with open-source use.

Responsible messaging matters.

Obtain recipient permission, respect opt-out requests, and follow WhatsApp terms and applicable law. Open source is not a way around those responsibilities.

An AI assistant on your account

Connect an AI assistant over MCP

The MauKirim MCP server lets an MCP-capable assistant — Claude Code, Cursor, VS Code, and other clients that read an mcpServers configuration — work directly with your account: read the API documentation, inspect billing and rented numbers, manage notification templates, and send from a rented number. Everything runs as your account with the permissions of the API key you grant it.

MCP endpoint: https://app.maukirim.com/api/mcp

  • Connect with a scoped API key in the Authorization: Bearer header, or through OAuth 2.1 for clients that discover the authorization server themselves, so no key lives in the config file.
  • The read scope is required for every connection; write tools need the matching notification, device, send, or webhook scope.
  • A sample send is a real, billable send, and a rental purchase returns a hosted checkout URL you must pay — the number is active only after payment settles.
  • Keep a write-scoped key narrow and never commit a real key to a tracked file.

Before you run it yourself

The open-source path does not include a managed number, hosting, support, or security setup. Your team manages the environment, the WhatsApp connection, updates, and its own compliance.
